Mount St. Mary waltzed into their game on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Woodward Boomers with a sharp 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won 14 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Wade Webb, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jefferson Hodge, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Mount St. Mary always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Mount St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Woodward, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Mount St. Mary will challenge Elk City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodward, they will head out on the road to square off against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
