Basketball Game Preview: Dexter Dreadnaughts vs. Saline Hornets

The Dexter Dreadnaughts will challenge the Saline Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Dexter came up short against Skyline and fell 45-36. While losing is never fun, the Dreadnaughts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Eagles are ranked 77th).

Meanwhile, Saline was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 42-41 to Lincoln. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Railsplitters: they've now lost four in a row.

This is the second loss in a row for Dexter and nudges their season record down to 6-8. As for Saline, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Dexter was able to grind out a solid victory over Saline when the teams last played back in January, winning 44-37. Will Dexter repeat their success, or does Saline have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
