Soccer Recap: Armstrong Comes Up Short

Armstrong played against James Monroe on Monday and lost via forfeit.

This is the second loss in a row for Armstrong and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1. As for James Monroe, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Armstrong will venture away from home to take on Varina at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for James Monroe, they will head out to face off against Courtland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Courtland's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
