Basketball Game Preview: Red Lodge Rams vs. Huntley Project Red Devils

Red Lodge and Huntley Project are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Red Lodge Rams will take on the Huntley Project Red Devils in a holiday battle at at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Red Lodge has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with five straight losses, while Huntley Project will come in with seven straight wins.

Last Saturday, Red Lodge came up short against Lockwood and fell 39-31.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kinley Bray, who posted nine points along with six boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Emineth, who had four points and five rebounds.

Even though they lost, Red Lodge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Huntley Project humbled Wolf Point with a 68-15 victory. The game marked the Red Devils' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Huntley Project's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Red Lodge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Red Lodge took a serious blow against Huntley Project in their previous matchup back in January, falling 84-39. Can Red Lodge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
