Basketball Game Preview: Allegan Tigers vs. Fennville Blackhawks

The Allegan Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Fennville Blackhawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Allegan has three straight wins, Fennville has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Allegan can't be too worried about heading out to take on Fennville: they just beat Galesburg-Augusta at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Allegan skirted past Galesburg-Augusta 39-37.

Meanwhile, Fennville came up short against South Haven on Friday, falling 51-25. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 538th, while the Rams are ranked 174th).

Fennville's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Allegan, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.

Allegan took their win against Fennville in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 39-18. The rematch might be a little tougher for Allegan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
