Baseball Recap: Arrowhead Warhawks vs. Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes
Arrowhead barely beat Eau Claire Memorial the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warhawks' pitchers stepped up to hand the Old Abes an 8-0 shutout on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Warhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Tanner Buhlmann looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024.
On the hitting side, Arrowhead got a big performance out of Yamato Takahashi, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double. Cam Carter was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
