Basketball Recap: M.L. King Sets Scoring Season-High Against Dunwoody

M.L. King scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Dunwoody Wildcats by a score of 47-44. The Lions have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

M.L. King's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Imani Lang, who posted nine points. Those nine points gave Lang a new career-high. Zya Taylor was another key player, putting up eight points.

M.L. King's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Dunwoody, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
