Basketball Recap: Myrtle Point Takes a Loss

Myrtle Point had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Powers Cruisers by a score of 47-45. The Bobcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Powers now has a winning record of 2-1.

Myrtle Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Powers, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Waldport at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
