Recap: Lab University Prep Lab Rats vs. Winston-Salem Christian National Lions
On Wednesday, the Lab University Prep Lab Rats faced the Winston-Salem Christian National Lions in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Lab University Prep was beaten by Winston-Salem Christian National 86-51. Lab University Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Lab University Prep still got an impressive performance from DeMarco Reynolds, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Travis Campbell, who scored nine points.
Lab University Prep's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-9. As for Winston-Salem Christian National, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 24-7.
Lab University Prep will take on Lab University Prep Regional at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lab University Prep Regional will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 441st, while Lab University Prep is ranked 15th). As for Winston-Salem Christian National, they will be playing at home against Balboa School at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday.
