Volleyball Recap: Triangle Math & Science Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Triangle Math & Science was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Neuse Charter Cougars, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-8, 25-12.

Neuse Charter got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sloane Smith out in front who had eight aces and three digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Temple, who had 19 assists and three aces.

Triangle Math & Science's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Neuse Charter, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

When Triangle Math & Science and Neuse Charter next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Tigers will try to stop Roxboro Community's three-game winning streak when they meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Neuse Charter will square off against Vance Charter and their four-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
