            Basketball Recap: Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles vs. McBee Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Governor's School for Science & Math was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They were dealt  an  85-17 defeat at the hands of the McBee Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings  (they are ranked 300th, while the Panthers are ranked 103rd).
 McBee's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Jakari Holloman led the charge by  almost  dropping  a double-double on 14 points and nine  boards. Holloman has been hot, having also posted two or more  steals the last eight times he's  played.  Hayden Griggs was another key player,  almost  dropping  a double-double on 16  points and nine  rebounds.
Governor's School for Science & Math's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for McBee, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the  win, which was their tenth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Governor's School for Science & Math has already played their next match,  a  2-0  defeat against Great Falls on the 29th. As for McBee, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  an  80-19  victory against Midlands STEM Charter on the 31st.
