Volleyball Recap: Greece Athena Takes a Loss

Greece Athena had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Chautauqua Lake Eagles on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

The victory was the third in a row for Chautauqua Lake, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Greece Athena will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Canandaigua Academy at 6:30 p.m. on September 4. As for Chautauqua Lake, they have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Geneva on the 25th.
