Basketball Game Preview: Laredo LBJ Wolves vs. Clemens Buffaloes

The Laredo LBJ Wolves will venture away from home to take on the Clemens Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Laredo LBJ is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest defeat since January 30th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Crystal City by a score of 42-40.

Meanwhile, Clemens was able to grind out a solid victory over Weiss on Tuesday, taking the game 76-63. Given the Buffaloes' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Wolves are ranked 366th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Clemens is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Laredo LBJ, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
