Soccer Recap: Taylorville Comes Up Short

Taylorville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Charleston Trojans, falling 7-0. That's two games in a row now that Taylorville have lost by exactly seven goals.

Taylorville's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Charleston, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Taylorville will host Jacksonville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Charleston, they will square off against Mattoon at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
