            Softball Preview: Hayden Wildcats vs. Springville Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Hayden hasn't had much luck against Springville recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Hayden Wildcats  face off against  Springville Tigers at 5:00  p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hayden comes in on three and Springville on ten.
Hayden's tournament run continued when they took on Boaz  on Friday. Hayden walked away with  an   8-4  victory over Boaz.
The team  relied heavily on  Halie Pavolini, who  went 2-for-3 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. That  triple was  her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Baylee Scott, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Hayden was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Boaz only posted a  batting average of  .300.
 Meanwhile, while Springville put up plenty of  runs on Thursday, the same  can't be said for Corner. Springville was the clear victors by  a  14-0 margin over Corner. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Springville's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Hayden, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.
 Hayden skirted past Springville  3-2 in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024. Does  Hayden have another victory up their sleeve, or will Springville turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
