Baseball Recap: Bluffton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lowcountry Leadership last Saturday, Bluffton came back down to earth. The Bluffton Bobcats lost 13-5 to the Cane Bay Cobras on Sunday. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cobras apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Dawson Kunze made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Nate Ulmer was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1.

Bluffton's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Cane Bay, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

While Bluffton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
