Baseball Recap: Revere Wins Going Away Against Westerville North

Revere won against West Greene on Friday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. Revere was the clear victor by an 11-5 margin over the Westerville North Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Minutemen.

Geoffrey Siess made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Nick Hall was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Charlie Effinger was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Revere's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Revere will challenge St. John at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Westerville North, they will take on West Geauga at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
