Softball Recap: Palmyra Comes Up Short

If Palmyra was feeling good fresh off their 15-9 takedown of Cedar Crest last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars came up short against the Ephrata Mountaineers on Monday, falling 12-0.

Palmyra saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mia Morrison, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Palmyra's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Ephrata, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Palmyra wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 15-0 loss against Hershey on the 25th. As for Ephrata, they have also already played their next game, an 18-8 defeat against Eastern Lebanon County on the 28th.
