Softball Recap: Benson Bobcats vs. Heritage Academy Heroes        
        
		
            
 After flying high against Glendale Prep Academy  last Wednesday, Benson came back down to earth. The Benson Bobcats lost  13-2 to the Heritage Academy Heroes on Saturday.
 Benson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Claire Parke, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2.
 On Heritage Academy's side,  Sieana Soltero made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  struck out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. Soltero was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news, Heritage Academy got a big performance out of  Rowan Asanovich, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Savana Soltero, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Benson has  been struggling recently as they've  lost 14 of their last 16 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record  this season. As for Heritage Academy, they pushed their record up to 23-3 with that  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home.
 Benson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heritage Academy, they will be playing at home against Phoenix Christian at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Phoenix Christian will roll in looking for their  14th straight  win, something Heritage Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
