Softball Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

Arlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-6 to the Flandreau Fliers. On the bright side, the six- run effort marked the Cardinals' highest-scoring contest to date.

Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Flandreau, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-5.

Flandreau wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-6 victory against Arlington/Lake Preston on the 22nd. Hopefully Arlington paid attention to the Fliers' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Fliers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
