Recap: Hamilton County Foxes vs. Eldorado Eagles
The Hamilton County Foxes were the 54-47 winner over the Eldorado Eagles when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. Hamilton County took a 50-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eldorado.
Hamilton County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rayci Phelps, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. That was a full 37.8% of Hamilton County's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Harmon, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Hamilton County has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Eldorado, their victory bumped their record up to 7-15.
Hamilton County will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Frankfort at 1:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Eldorado, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Fairfield at 6:00 p.m.
