Volleyball Recap: Cimarron Comes Up Short

Cimarron lost against Holcomb last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bluejays took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Longhorns. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-17.

Jaylee Schilling paced Cimarron's offense, picking up four kills. Schilling got some help from Emery May and her five assists. May was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Cimarron's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Holcomb, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.

Cimarron didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Southwestern Heights on the 4th. As for Holcomb, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Medicine Lodge on the 4th.
