Softball Recap: Midd-West Comes Up Short

If Midd-West was riding high fresh off their 17-6 takedown of Newport on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs fell 8-4 to the Susquenita Blackhawks on Monday.

Olivia Dorman made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Cali Sauer, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run.

Midd-West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midd-West will challenge Shikellamy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Susquenita, they will square off against Greenwood at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
