Football Recap: Hubbard Starts Season with Win on the Road + How To Watch

Hubbard had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Brookfield Warriors, posting a 42-0 win. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Hubbard had a senior duo take command as Braydon Songer rushed for 145 yards and three TDs on only six carries and Michael Hazimihalis gained 145 total yards and three touchdowns. Songer's longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Hubbard's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Antonio Berkley with two.

Coming up, Hubbard will face off against Wilmington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brookfield, they will take on Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
