Holy Cross won against Pennsauken last Monday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Lancers skirted past the Florence Township Memorial Flashes 10-8. The win continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Flashes: they've now won three in a row.

Jayla Bullock was incredible, firing off two home runs and four runs while going 4-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emily Cannon, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Bullock wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Holy Cross lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

The victory got Holy Cross back to even at 4-4. As for Florence Township Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Cross will welcome Haddon Heights at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Florence Township Memorial, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Pennsauken at 10:00 a.m.
