Conestoga made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Springfield, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Pioneers blew past the Cougars 9-1 on Tuesday. The Pioneers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 11th.

Evan Sonn looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on James Quici, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Chase Cherny, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for Conestoga and bumps their season record up to 3-6. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-6 Springfield and 2-7 Upper Darby. As for Springfield, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Conestoga will head out to face off against Cardinal O'Hara at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springfield, they will be playing at home against Upper Darby at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars are facing the Royals at the right time seeing as the Royals are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
