Baseball Game Preview: Roseville Tigers vs. Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos

For the second straight game, Roseville will face off against Twelve Bridges. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raging Rhinos at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Roseville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Roseville had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Twelve Bridges on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Raging Rhinos a 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Tyler Ritter tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Roseville is 6-1 when Ritter allows one or fewer earned runs, but 7-8 otherwise.

At the plate, Kyle Pettersen was excellent, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one run. Benjamin Jordan was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Roseville's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Twelve Bridges, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
