Basketball Game Preview: Resurrection Christian Cougars vs. Forge Christian Fury

The Resurrection Christian Cougars will challenge the Forge Christian Fury at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday. Resurrection Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Resurrection Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They took down St. Mary's 56-37. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Pirates are ranked 116th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Forge Christian waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with an 81-72 victory over the Stallions.

Forge Christian's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Resurrection Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 25-0.

Resurrection Christian beat Forge Christian 68-58 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Resurrection Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
