Aiken has gone 9-1 against Airport recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Aiken Fighting Green Hornets will be playing at home against the Airport Eagles at 6:30 p.m.

Aiken is headed into Friday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They took a blow against Fountain Inn on Saturday, falling 74-42.

Meanwhile, after only nine points in their last matchup, Airport made sure to put some points up on the board against Gilbert on Friday. Airport put the hurt on Gilbert with a sharp 68-47 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Airport had a senior duo take command as Ja'Sia Booth dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds and Angel Mayes posted 19 points and four steals. Booth is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Niya Gore, who earned eight points.

Airport's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 10-7. As for Aiken, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Aiken beat Airport 37-30 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will Aiken repeat their success, or does Airport have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
