Basketball Game Preview: Western Hills Mustangs vs. Aiken Falcons

The Western Hills Mustangs will head out to challenge the Aiken Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Western Hills has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with five straight defeats, while Aiken will come in with seven straight wins.

On Monday, Western Hills had to suffer through a 55-10 loss at the hands of Colerain.

They were the clear victor by a 47-25 margin over Hughes. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Aiken pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.2 points. As for Western Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Western Hills was taken down by Aiken 67-36 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Western Hills was down 54-16.
