On Friday Kaden Holmes tossed three innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) Holmes has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than two walks. On the season, he has an ERA of 2.86 over 14.7 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Holmes and North Bay Haven Academy will host Holmes County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Buccaneers will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 360 places lower in Florida), but they're not letting that get them down.
