Softball Recap: South Lamar Comes Up Short

South Lamar came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Oakman Wildcats, falling 8-0.

South Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Oakman, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-14.

South Lamar wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Lamar County on the 5th. As for Oakman, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Berry on the 5th.
