Baseball Recap: Humboldt Vikings vs. Halls Tigers
Humboldt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Halls Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Wednesday.
Humboldt saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kameron Justicee, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
Humboldt's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Halls, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Humboldt will square off against Fulton County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Halls, they will head out to take on Trinity Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
