Basketball Game Preview: Demopolis Tigers vs. Hale County Wildcats

Demopolis is 0-6 against Hale County since November of 2020 but things could change on Monday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Demopolis Tigers face off against the Hale County Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Demopolis will be strutting in after a victory while Hale County will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, Demopolis was able to grind out a solid win over Jemison, taking the game 47-36.

Meanwhile, Hale County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Central by a score of 46-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since December 27, 2023.

Demopolis is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-13 record this season. As for Hale County, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.

Demopolis was dealt a bruising 55-23 loss at the hands of Hale County in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Demopolis was down 32-11.
