The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Riverhawks: they've now lost eight in a row.

Hermiston's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Chiawana, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
