Volleyball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the R.J. Reynolds Demons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Demons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

Glenn actually scored more points across those four sets (87-85), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 10-25, 25-22, 25-20.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for R.J. Reynolds, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Glenn is set to challenge their familiar foe Northwest Guilford at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, R.J. Reynolds will face off against rival Tri-City Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
