Soccer Recap: South El Monte Wins Going Away Against Glendora

The South El Monte Eagles got the win against the Glendora Tartans on Friday by a conclusive 7-1.

South El Monte's offense was hitting Glendora from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Cristian Nunez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

South El Monte's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Glendora, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, South El Monte will take on Monrovia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glendora, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Jurupa Hills at 5:30 p.m. on December 1.
