Softball Game Preview: Morton Indians vs. Post Antelopes

The Morton Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Post Antelopes at 4:35 p.m. on Tuesday. Morton is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Morton fell victim to New Home and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Leopards, falling 16-0.

Meanwhile, Post also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 19-0 to Sundown on Saturday. The Antelopes have struggled against the Roughnecks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Morton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Post, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Morton has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .578. However, it's not like Post struggles in that department as they've averaged .545. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
