Recap: Choctaw County Tigers vs. Hatch Bobcats
This season hasn't been kind to the Choctaw County Tigers, who are still winless after their eighth matchup. They took a 40-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hatch on Saturday. Choctaw County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hatch apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was India Graham, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Graham is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Paris Harris, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Choctaw County bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Hatch, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Choctaw County will be home for the holidays to greet Clarke County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hatch, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Marion at 6:30 p.m. on December 22nd.
