Volleyball Recap: Harvard Takes a Loss

Harvard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Beloit Sobos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Harvard couldn't get the win, but they sure gave South Beloit a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 31-29, 25-20.

Harvard's loss dropped their record down to 3-22. As for South Beloit, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 23-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Harvard will venture away from home to challenge Plano at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Beloit, they will take on Earlville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
