Volleyball Recap: Sylmar Comes Up Short

Sylmar saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Sherman Oaks CES Knights by a score of 1-0.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Sylmar sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-23.

Sylmar's defeat dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Sherman Oaks CES, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

Coming up, Sylmar will venture away from home to square off against San Fernando at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sherman Oaks CES, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Oak Park on the 11th.
