Volleyball Game Preview: Trinity Bulldogs vs. Owen Warhorses

The Trinity Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Owen Warhorses at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Trinity is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Providence Grove, sneaking past 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won nine in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Trinity got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 26-28, 25-13, 14-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Owen made easy work of Mountain Heritage on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was Owen's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 25-10.

Owen's victory bumped their record up to 20-1. As for Trinity, they now have a winning record of 13-12.
