Basketball Game Preview: Huffman Vikings vs. Spain Park Jaguars + How To Watch

Huffman hasn't had much luck against Spain Park recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Vikings will head out to square off against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Huffman has given up an average of 55.9 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Huffman fought the good fight in their overtime game against Paul W. Bryant on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took an 80-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stampede. On the bright side, the 69- point effort marked the Vikings' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Despite the loss, Huffman had strong showings from Tierra Billingsley, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds, and Zaryah Johnson, who posted 20 points along with five assists and four steals.

Meanwhile, Spain Park earned a 53-42 victory over Hueytown on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

Spain Park now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Huffman, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Huffman couldn't quite finish off Spain Park in their previous matchup back in November of 2018 and fell 56-53. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
