Buhler's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Circle with a sharp 6-0 win. Considering the Crusaders have won three games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Collegiate). They came out on top against Wellington by a score of 12-7 on Monday. With that victory, the Spartans brought their scoring average up to 6.9 runs per game.

Max Williams was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maddox Drumright, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Williams wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Collegiate kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. Collegiate is 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Collegiate has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. Buhler pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
