Marion County managed to slip by Sequatchie County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors lost 16-3 to the Indians on Monday. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Marion County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Thacker, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Thacker also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Caden McCrary was another, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Marion County's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Sequatchie County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

While Marion County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
