Baseball Recap: Cabool Takes a Loss

Cabool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 19-4 to the Thayer Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 last Friday.

Cabool saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Long, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Cabool's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Thayer, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Cabool has already played their next contest, a 10-3 loss against Ava on the 9th. As for Thayer, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Mountain Grove on the 9th.
