Volleyball Recap: Athens Takes a Loss

If Athens was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Florence on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spain Park Jaguars on Friday.

Athens' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Spain Park, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Athens didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Lamar on the 22nd. As for Spain Park, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fairhope on the 22nd.
