Basketball Recap: Walhalla Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Walhalla won the last time they faced Chapman and things went their way on Friday too. The Walhalla Razorbacks had just enough and edged the Chapman Panthers out 68-65. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Razorbacks.

Walhalla got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jack Williams out in front who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Wise, who had 13 points and six rebounds.

Walhalla was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chapman only racked up 13 assists.

When it comes to explaining why Chapman lost, don't look at Colby Moon. Despite the final result, he put up 20 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Moon a new career-high in points. Colt Mcallister was another key player, putting up 14 points and five rebounds.

Walhalla's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-11. As for Chapman, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Walhalla wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 76-57 loss against Clinton on the 6th. As for Chapman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 88-50 defeat against Dorman on the 4th.
