Basketball Recap: Danville Christian Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Danville Christian Academy won against Somerset on Monday with 49 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Danville Christian Academy Warriors rang in the new year with a 49-36 victory over the Somerset Briar Jumpers. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Briar Jumpers are ranked 149th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win was the third in a row for Danville Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 10-2. As for Somerset, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

Danville Christian Academy has already played their next match, a 42-30 victory against Danville on the 8th. As for Somerset, they will welcome Casey County at 7:45 p.m. on January 14th. Somerset is facing Casey County at the right time seeing as Casey County is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
