Baseball Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

Northwestern had taken Lewis Cass down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Tigers took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kings. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Kings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Teegan Helmle made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

This is the second loss in a row for Northwestern and nudges their season record down to 9-4. As for Lewis Cass, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.
